In recent history, it’s hard to find a more catastrophic collapse of an incumbent president than what Joe Biden is currently experiencing. Nixon’s downfall was overshadowed by the Watergate scandal, but Biden is facing multiple crises that he, himself, has created. It’s truly baffling to think that someone would intentionally create such a mess. But here we are, with Joe Biden as the woefully inept marionette, controlled by far-left puppeteers.
According to the latest New York Times/Sienna College Poll, it’s no surprise that former President Donald Trump continues to hold a commanding lead over Biden in the polls. However, what is shocking is the decline of the coalition that elected Biden in 2020. Trump is leading Biden in five out of six crucial battleground states that Biden carried in the last election. From concerns about Biden’s age to his mishandling of the economy, the border crisis, and now his questionable handling of the Israel-Hamas War, doubts are growing about his ability to lead.
The Times/Sienna Poll reveals that Biden is losing to Trump by margins ranging from three to 10 percentage points in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, and Pennsylvania. He only holds a two-point lead in Wisconsin. Discontent is evident throughout the poll, with a majority of voters saying that Biden’s policies have personally harmed them. The multiracial and multigenerational coalition that supported Biden in 2020 is now fracturing, as two-thirds of the electorate believes the country is moving in the wrong direction.

What’s more, Biden’s lead among certain demographic groups is slipping. Only one percentage point separates him and Trump among voters under 30, and his advantage among Hispanic voters has diminished significantly. Additionally, Trump now has twice as many men supporting him compared to Biden, reversing the gender advantage that Democrats have relied on in recent years.
Looking at the numbers, Trump leads by significant margins in Nevada, Georgia, Arizona, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. The only state where Biden holds a lead is Wisconsin, and even there, it’s a narrow two-point margin. One voter from Pennsylvania, who previously supported Biden but now backs Trump, summed up the sentiment, saying, “The world is falling apart under Biden. I would much rather see somebody that I feel can be a positive role model leader for the country. … I think Trump has his wits about him.”
One glaring liability for Biden is his age. An overwhelming 71 percent of respondents believe he is “too old” to effectively serve as president. This sentiment is shared across all demographic and geographic groups, and even 54 percent of Biden’s own supporters agree. In contrast, only 19 percent of Trump’s supporters view him as too old.
Furthermore, 62 percent of respondents believe Biden lacks the “mental sharpness” to be effective. These are just a few of the weaknesses that the survey highlights for Biden. It’s becoming increasingly clear that his presidency is on a downward slide.
While this information may not come as a surprise to those of us who have been paying attention, it has significant implications for the voters who supported Biden in 2020. As time goes on, it’s only going to get worse for the 46th president of the United States as he continues to slip. It’s time to stick a fork in Joe and acknowledge the reality of his failures
