It is very troubling that SpaceX officials discouraged refugees and asylum-seekers from applying for positions at the company. These individuals have already faced a lot of difficulties in their lives, and it is unacceptable that they are being discriminated against.
According to the agency's civil rights division's assistant attorney general, Kristen Clarke, SpaceX discriminated against refugees and asylees by refusing to hire them based on their citizenship status. This violation of federal law should be considered unlawful. I agree with Clarke's statement and believe that companies such as SpaceX should be held accountable when it comes to such discrimination.
The lawsuit aims to end the discriminatory practices that SpaceX has been carrying out, and it demands that the company pay an unspecified amount of money to settle the matter.
