In a recent turn of events, former Trump impeachment lawyer and Rep. Daniel Goldman managed to shoot himself in the foot while trying to accuse House Republicans of jeopardizing national security. It all started when former Hunter Biden business associate Gal Luft was indicted for FARA violations. Luft had been advising CEFC China without registering as a foreign agent. Just as House Republicans were about to get more information from Luft regarding the Biden family’s questionable foreign dealings, Goldman, in his infinite wisdom, decided to ignore the suspicious timing and blame Republicans instead.

But here’s the kicker – in doing so, Goldman unintentionally exposed the Biden family’s shady activities. Now, let’s play devil’s advocate for a moment and assume that Luft is indeed guilty of being an agent of the Communist Party of China (CCP). Let’s also assume that he violated FARA laws and is being rightfully charged by the Department of Justice. Well, guess who else advised CEFC China without registering as a foreign agent? That’s right, none other than Hunter Biden himself.
Republicans are so desperate to dig up dirt on President Biden that they eagerly embrace a witness who has been charged with being an agent of the CCP. @RepRaskin and I want to know if @GOPOversight is jeopardizing our national security. pic.twitter.com/PVLonqEEdt

Hunter Biden managed to make millions of dollars from CEFC China, all while conveniently forgetting to register as a foreign agent. And let’s not forget the infamous $5.1 million payday he received after shaking down a Chinese official and using his father’s influence. The money then mysteriously found its way into various Biden family accounts. To this day, we have no idea what services Hunter actually provided to CEFC Energy. It’s all very sus, to say the least.
So, imagine the sheer audacity of Daniel Goldman when he inadvertently admitted that Hunter Biden was working for the CCP. Instead of trapping House Republicans, he essentially opened a can of worms that warrants a thorough investigation into Hunter Biden’s ties with the Chinese government. Bravo, Goldman, bravo.
I can’t help but wonder if Goldman’s statement is a result of shamelessness or sheer cluelessness. He genuinely seems to believe that he’s cracked the case, when in reality, he has done the exact opposite. His argument that Luft’s guilt discredits his allegations about the Biden family is laughable at best. It’s like a mob member testifying against a mob boss – of course, you expect associates of Hunter Biden to have committed criminal acts when Hunter himself is under scrutiny. It’s common sense.
Goldman wants it both ways, but sorry, buddy, that’s not how it works. If Luft is guilty of FARA violations, then why hasn’t Hunter Biden been charged with the same crime? The Democrats can’t seem to come up with a satisfactory answer to that question. The slow investigation by the Department of Justice into Hunter Biden certainly smells like a cover-up, and Goldman’s clumsy attempt to deflect attention only adds fuel to the fire.
So, while Rep. Goldman thought he was putting House Republicans in the hot seat, he inadvertently implicated the Biden family in shady dealings with the CCP. It’s a classic case of shooting oneself in the foot and handing conservatives like us another reason to question the Biden administration’s integrity. Keep digging, Goldman, because the truth is bound to come out sooner or later.
