New York’s self-proclaimed champion of the people, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, continues to deliver on her reputation for misguided and reckless behavior. This time, her Congressional office took things to a new level by hosting a virtual seminar aimed at teaching illegal aliens how to avoid repatriation efforts by ICE. It’s a classic display of AOC’s commitment to putting illegal immigrants first—while her constituents are left struggling in the wake of her outlandish priorities.
During what can only be described as a masterclass in misplaced allegiance, Ocasio-Cortez’s office broadcasted the “Know Your Rights With ICE” event live on her Facebook page. Here, attendees were treated to tips on navigating ICE searches. The seminar covered alleged “ruses” employed by ICE agents, which, let’s be honest, sounds less like a legitimate concern and more like a fancy way to describe lawful processes. After all, if someone is illegally residing in the country, the law allows for their deportation. Yet, Ocasio-Cortez has clearly chosen a side.
Meanwhile, a representative from the Immigrant Defense Project chimed in, attempting to blur the lines of legality concerning immigration enforcement. The reality is striking; when ICE acts on individuals violating immigration laws, they are simply doing their job. The more Ocasio-Cortez and her supporters insist otherwise, the more they expose their disconnection from the legal framework governing the nation.

It’s worth mentioning that while AOC didn’t physically participate in the seminar, she has been busy outside the event, creating visually appealing Instagram posts filled with tips for illegal aliens. These posters, available in both English and Spanish, are meant to be widely shared, further amplifying her office’s questionable messaging. It seems AOC has found her niche: not just advocating for undocumented immigrants, but also actively enabling and encouraging them to evade the law.
The irony is palpable as Ocasio-Cortez has managed to prioritize the interests of illegal immigrants, including those with criminal backgrounds, above the very citizens who elected her. By continually positioning herself against common-sense immigration policies, she has betrayed the community that misguidedly placed their faith in her. Her actions raise serious questions about her commitment to the oath she took as an elected official. Wouldn’t it be refreshing if she directed her energy towards supporting job opportunities for her constituents rather than facilitating the legal maneuverings of those who violate the very laws her office is meant to uphold? In a rational political landscape, it is hard to imagine AOC returning to Washington after her term ends—especially if her constituents realize the depths of her betrayal.
