New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, or as we like to call her, AOC (because we don’t have time for fancy long names), recently had some shocking words to say about President Joe Biden’s immigration policies. In an interview with The New York Times, AOC claimed that immigration is Biden’s weakest issue. Well, if that’s not a slap in the face to the President, I don’t know what is!
But let’s break it down, folks. AOC believes that Biden is playing politics with immigration, and she’s not happy about it. She says there are clear recommendations and suggestions to provide relief, but the hesitation comes from a fear of Republican narratives. Can you believe it? AOC thinks that the Biden administration is afraid of Republicans. Well, maybe they should be! We conservatives know a thing or two about securing our borders and protecting our country.
And here’s the kicker – AOC hasn’t even bothered to visit the border during Biden’s presidency. Talk about hypocrisy! She had no problem touring facilities in New York, but when it comes to the real crisis at the border, she’s nowhere to be found. It’s like she only cares about the issue when there’s a Republican in the White House. Shocking, I know.

But it doesn’t end there, folks. The Times brought up the fact that New Yorkers are protesting the influx of migrants and even want them relocated to other parts of the state. AOC, ever the champion of the people, claims that New Yorkers are willing to help, but they need partnership from the federal government. Sorry, AOC, but it sounds like your constituents aren’t too happy with the situation. Maybe it’s time to listen to the people and start enforcing some common-sense immigration policies.
And let’s not forget about that poll that showed more than 80 percent of voters in New York state think the influx of illegal immigrants is a serious problem. Even Democrats, Republicans, and independents agree on this one. But AOC seems to be living in her own little world, where she thinks New York City is the “front line” of the border crisis. Newsflash, AOC, it’s the border states like Texas that have been dealing with this problem for years. Time to get your facts straight.
In the end, AOC’s comments just confirm what we conservatives have been saying all along – the Biden administration is failing on immigration. It’s time for real leadership and real solutions. And maybe it’s time for AOC to take a trip to the border and see the crisis for herself. But hey, who needs facts and firsthand experience when you can just play politics and make baseless claims, right? Sigh.
