The Squad’s latest antics were on full display at a rally for a ceasefire in Washington, D.C. And let’s be real, it’s no surprise that they are supporting a ceasefire. These members have a long history of making troubling remarks that undermine our ally, Israel. But their attempts to justify their anti-Israel stance at this rally were not only laughable but also offensive.
Rep. Rashida Tlaib didn’t pull any punches when she decided to attack Israel, calling them “extremist” and accusing them of committing “war crimes.” She even went as far as demanding an end to all violence, essentially tying Israel’s hands and preventing them from defending themselves against terrorists. It’s outrageous to suggest that Israel should just sit back and let innocent people be killed. But hey, at least Tlaib received support from Rep. Jamaal Bowman, who referred to Israel as a “fascist government.” These Squad members really know how to come together and spew their anti-Israel rhetoric.

Meanwhile, Rep. Cori Bush tried to play the victim card and claim that they were being unfairly labeled as anti-Israel. Sorry, Bush, but your actions and statements speak for themselves. And let’s not forget about Rep. Ilhan Omar, who had the audacity to criticize Americans of faith who support Israel. According to Omar, if you’re a religious leader, your number one priority should be to oppose violence. Well, apparently, defending yourself against terrorists is considered violence to her. How absurd.
Last but not least, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez decided to redefine what a ceasefire means. According to her, the value of human life is one of the most Jewish things in the world. Does that mean she’s against abortions? It’s ironic how she tries to push this narrative that Jews shouldn’t defend themselves from terrorists who want to kill them. She even had the nerve to blame Israel for “imperiling the hostages.” Last time we checked, it was Hamas who took the hostages and initiated the war. AOC’s ignorance is truly astounding.
It’s clear that the Squad is fully aligned in their anti-Israel agenda. Their attempts to wrap themselves in “Jewishness” and use it to bolster their position only further demonstrate their willingness to push false narratives and undermine the safety and security of Israel. It’s up to us to see through their rhetoric and support our important ally.
