New York’s own Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is once again tangled in a controversy that’s shaking the political world. Seems like every time you turn around, she’s embroiled in another radical political mess. This time, it’s not just her words that have America raising its eyebrows in disbelief, it’s her associations. The congresswoman did a video for the Democratic Socialists of America, a group spiraling into chaos after another dangerous display of anti-American rhetoric. Imagine supporting a group that praises murder?
The shockwaves hit hard when the group decided to hail a savage act that left two innocent diplomats dead outside of a Jewish museum. That’s right, Jewish and Christian diplomats—representatives of peace and dialogue—were ruthlessly gunned down. The accused killer shouted “Free Palestine!” while carrying out his despicable act. It’s chilling to see where blind rage takes people.

After the unsettling show of support for this radical, some good, old-fashioned investigative digging brought AOC’s connection with the DSA into the limelight yet again. For those who remember, she’s part of the infamous “Squad” in Congress—a group that has said some downright anti-Israel and anti-Semitic things in the past. They’re always going on about justice and equality but seem to miss the memo when it comes to attacks on their own soil.
AOC’s past comments show her blatant disregard for American history and the Jewish community. Like when she compared U.S. border facilities to the horrors of Nazi concentration camps. Yet again, one can’t help but see the audacity and reckless disregard that liberals have for comparing apples to oranges. It makes you wonder about the sensitivity training these so-called leaders skipped out on.
The Democratic Socialists of America had to scramble back with a statement, distancing themselves from their own lunatic fringe. This group, which includes prominent figures you may recognize, like certain “Squad” members, insists they want peaceful democratic change. Sound familiar? It smells a whole lot like liberal backtracking when the heat turns up.
Doesn’t it make you question who these folks really are? Can we truly trust leaders who keep getting caught up in scandal and extremist sympathies? As this saga unfolds, Americans should stay alert and ask when enough is enough. Just how long can our nation tolerate such blatant displays of radicalism dressed up as political discourse?
