Monday afternoon, Israel's brave Prime Minister Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu stood tall and spoke to the whole country, outlining Israel's next steps in its ongoing war with Hamas. Netanyahu told the people that their safety and prosperity were his top priorities, and his voice was full of resolve. But he didn't hide the fact that the enemy they are up against is cruel and violent either.

"Israel is at war," Netanyahu said in a serious voice, as if his country was in danger. "These wild people made us go to war, even though we didn't want to. ISIS and Hamas are the same. Just as people from all walks of life worked together to defeat ISIS, we need to do the same to help Israel beat Hamas.
Netanyahu called Hamas the embodiment of terror and chaos by listing all the horrible things they have done. They do horrible things like shackling, setting children on fire, and killing them. They also kill innocent people without mercy. As Netanyahu said, it's important to remember that Israel's fight is not just for its own people, but for every country that fights against cruelty.
Since the beginning of his political career, Netanyahu has always put Israel's security ahead of any possible deals with the Palestinians.
