In a shocking turn of events, the State Department press briefing revealed that the Biden administration is not jumping on the bandwagon of the “ceasefire now” plea pushed by Hamas sympathizers who happen to serve as Democrat members of Congress. Spokesman Matthew Miller, probably armed with some common sense, rejected the idea without hesitation. Take that, Rashida Tlaib and your crocodile tears!

Miller made it clear that the United States stands firmly with Israel’s right to defend itself. And for good reason! Israel is still under attack from the barbaric terrorists of Hamas. These rocket attacks have killed innocent civilians, yet the propaganda-spewing squad members conveniently overlook this fact. It’s mind-boggling.
Let’s not forget that Hamas and their Iranian puppeteers have been indiscriminately launching rockets into Israel since October 7. Awful, right? But who gets the blame and condemnation? Israel. It’s always Israel. These rockets are being fired towards Israeli civilians, and the majority are successfully intercepted by Israel’s Iron Dome. Thank goodness for that technology.
A ceasefire at this point would only play into the hands of Hamas and their terrorist cohorts. It would give them a chance to regroup and come up with new strategies to launch even more attacks on innocent Israelis. We can’t allow that! Hamas has no regard for the people living under its oppressive rule in Gaza. If they did, they wouldn’t be using them as human shields and preventing their evacuation from dangerous areas.
It’s interesting to note that earlier this week, the State Department had to delete posts that called for “restraint” and sought a ceasefire. It seems they’ve come to their senses and realized that expecting Israel not to defend itself against those who slaughtered its people is insane. Finally, some logical thinking!
So, whether Matthew Miller genuinely believes what he said or is just towing the line, his words ring true. A ceasefire should not be the goal until the terrorists responsible for the attacks on Israel have been dealt with. It’s time we stand with Israel, support their right to defend themselves, and put an end to this terrorist threat once and for all.
