Biden Administration Accused of Mass Amnesty Program for Illegal Aliens

A recent report revealed that the Biden Administration is carrying out a concealed “mass amnesty” program for illegal aliens, as uncovered by the New York Post. The administration has closed over 350,000 asylum cases for border crossers since 2022, if they have no criminal background or are not seen as a threat to the nation.

By terminating these cases without making a decision on their asylum claims, these individuals are essentially granted amnesty and can freely move around the United States without the fear of being deported. This move has raised concerns among immigration experts, with some calling it a blatant abuse of prosecutorial discretion that allows people without the right to be in the U.S. to stay indefinitely.

Since President Biden assumed office in 2021, a staggering 77 percent of asylum seekers have been permitted to stay in the country. The enormous backlog of 3.5 million asylum cases has pushed the administration to close thousands of cases to improve the statistics. Once their cases are closed, illegal aliens are no longer at risk of deportation.

Critics of the administration point out that Biden’s decision to revoke the “Remain In Mexico” policy established by former President Trump has worsened the situation. This change has led to a significant expansion of the “catch and release” program, where illegal aliens are released into the U.S. after being given a court date. Unfortunately, many of these individuals fail to show up for their court appointments.

According to international asylum laws, individuals must seek asylum in the first safe country they enter. However, the southern border has been flooded with asylum seekers from various parts of the world, including Africa and the Middle East, among others. These individuals have traveled through multiple countries to reach the United States, bypassing the standard procedures for asylum application. Since Biden’s presidency began, over 10,000,000 illegal aliens have entered the U.S., further complicating the immigration situation.

In this conservative viewpoint, the Biden Administration’s actions are seen as enabling illegal immigration and disregarding the rule of law. The policies put in place have not only created a loophole for individuals to stay in the U.S. unlawfully but have also burdened the country with a massive backlog of asylum cases. The lack of enforcement and border security measures has fueled a surge in illegal immigration, resulting in a situation that poses both national security and legal concerns.
