Biden Admin’s Map Study Fails as Israel Discovers Hostages Killed by Hamas in Rafah Tunnel

In a not-so-shocking turn of events, six hostages, including American-Israeli Hersh Goldberg-Polin, were tragically found dead in a tunnel under Gaza, specifically in Rafah. This is the same Rafah that Vice President Kamala Harris cautioned Israeli forces against entering, presumably while studying some pretty colorful maps. One would think that with all that intense map studying, she might have foreseen the implications of Hamas’s actions, but alas, the reality often eludes the left.

Earlier this year, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made it abundantly clear that entering Rafah was on the table. This town serves as a crucial link on the Gaza-Egypt border, thought to be a hideout for Hamas leaders who simply can’t resist the allure of terror. Harris, seeming to channel her inner oracle, issued warnings about civilian casualties and potential consequences should Israel take action in this area. Apparently, her map studies were meant to deter the very military operation that was necessary for the safety and well-being of both Israelis and, dare one say it, Palestinians.

Despite the hand-wringing from the Biden administration, Israel forged ahead and entered Rafah. In a testament to their strategic acumen, the Israeli Defense Forces managed to tackle this situation with a level of precision that resulted in minimal civilian harm. They ended up eliminating hundreds of Hamas terrorists, with the leaders of this criminal organization presumably packing their bags and running for the hills, demonstrating once again that evildoers always prefer to remain unseen.

Moreover, the operation led to the rescue of one hostage, while also unearthing the grim reality for Goldberg-Polin and his fellow captives. The grim details emerged regarding their untimely demise at the hands of Hamas, a revelation attributed to intelligence gathered from a hostage who had recently been freed. It appears that while those in charge of map study were emptying the ink from their pens, Israel was busy working to save lives and dismantle an ongoing threat.

As a bonus outcome, Israel effectively took control of the Philadelphi Corridor, a key stretch of road along the Egyptian border. This strategic win allowed for the discovery and destruction of numerous tunnels that Hamas utilizes for smuggling weapons and other supplies. One can only wonder whether the vice president will continue her critique from the safety of the White House, or if she will concede that sometimes, tough decisions must be made on the ground, even if they don’t fit neatly into a leftist narrative or an illustrative map.
