Biden Admits to Hamas-Caused American Casualties, Touts Safety as Priority!

In an unexpected development, the White House opted to take a break during a critical moment. While American citizens faced danger during the Hamas attack on Israel, the White House declared a "lid" for the day before noon. It gave the impression that they were not inclined to engage in actual work. Finally, several hours later, President Joe Biden delivered a statement on "American Citizens Impacted in Israel."

One might assume that the president would address the primary cause of these deadly attacks, namely Hamas. However, Biden conveniently omitted that aspect. Instead, he confirmed the loss of 11 American citizens but refrained from attributing responsibility for their deaths. It raised questions about whether these events were accidental or deliberate.

The situation with the stranded Americans in Afghanistan cannot be overlooked. Despite Biden's claims that the safety of American citizens is his foremost concern, he was unable to ensure their safe return. It appears to be a case of unfulfilled promises.

Nevertheless, it is worth noting that Biden did acknowledge that American citizens may be among those held by Hamas, albeit belatedly. It is a positive sign that he is beginning to pay attention, even though the timing is less than ideal.

In his customary style, President Biden also emphasized the importance of the United States' relationship with Israel. However, actions speak louder than words. Mere promises and photo opportunities are insufficient.

In summary, it is evident that the White House appeared more interested in taking a break than addressing a crisis. Nonetheless, law enforcement agencies have increased security around Jewish centers, and the FBI is monitoring domestic threats—steps that are, at the very least, necessary.

We can only hope that President Biden awakens from his break soon and takes decisive actions to safeguard American citizens. Empty promises and missed opportunities are something we cannot afford any longer.
