The White House is shaking its head in disapproval at the protesters in Dearborn, Michigan, who were caught shouting “death to America” at an Al-Quds Day rally. These folks need a lesson or two in patriotism and respect for the greatest nation on Earth. It’s downright disrespectful to chant such anti-American and Antisemitic remarks. President Biden is right – America is a shining beacon to the world, and these protesters need to recognize that.

The rally’s speaker, Tarek Bazzi, went on a tirade against America, calling it one of the “rottenest countries” ever. Well, Mr. Bazzi, if you dislike it here so much, feel free to move to a country more to your liking. Maybe then you’ll appreciate all the freedoms and opportunities America has to offer.
It’s alarming to see this kind of hatred being spewed at a rally that is supposed to be about opposition to Israel and Zionism. The organizers need to step up and take responsibility for the hate-filled rhetoric coming from their own event. It’s cowardly to distance themselves from the chants after the fact.
And let’s not forget about Imam Khomeini – the one who started this International Al-Quds Day mess. Referring to America as the “Great Satan” is not only inflammatory but also incredibly disrespectful. It’s no surprise that chants of “death to America” are common in Iran, where such anti-American sentiments are encouraged.
President Biden is facing yet another challenge with protests over his administration’s stance on the Israel-Hamas conflict. While he stands by our ally Israel, pro-Palestinian activists are urging for protest votes against him. It’s a shame to see such division in the party over supporting a key ally in the region.
The White House has recently scaled back its Ramadan festivities due to backlash from Muslim-Americans unhappy with its policies regarding Israel and Gaza. It’s a tough situation, but the administration needs to stand firm in its support of Israel, a democratic nation in a region fraught with turmoil.
Overall, these protesters need to check their anti-American sentiments at the door and show some respect for the country that gives them the freedoms to voice their opinions. It’s time to put aside the hate and work towards constructive dialogue and understanding.
