Biden Betrays Israel? Ex-Ambassador Slams Cease-Fire Push in Gaza

In a scathing critique of the Biden administration’s approach towards Israel, a former Israeli ambassador to the United Nations expressed his frustration with the idea of seeking humanitarian pauses in Israel’s offensive against Hamas. Danny Danon, a member of the Knesset, Israel’s parliament, lambasted the notion of a cease-fire or pause, arguing that it would give Hamas an opportunity to regroup and plan more attacks.

Danon pointed out that there was already a cease-fire in place until October 7th, when Hamas launched an unprovoked attack on multiple locations in southern Israel, resulting in the deaths of approximately 1,400 people. He argued that rewarding Hamas with pauses or cease-fires would only embolden them to continue their terroristic activities.

Democratic Representative Rashida Tlaib and other left-wing members of the House, known as “The Squad,” immediately called for a ceasefire when Israel began its response to the terrorist attacks. However, Danon emphasized that constantly pausing and giving in to Hamas would only provide them with the time and energy to further fight against Israel.

Danon made it clear that the objective was to eliminate Hamas as soon as possible and bring home the hostages. He emphasized the importance of allies standing together against evil and not allowing it to persist by granting the enemy any advantages. With his strong statements, Danon highlighted the urgency and determination of Israel to protect its citizens and defeat the terrorists.
