Biden Blunder: Border Chaos Deepens, Dems Dodge Duty!

The “crisis” at the southern border, as some Democrats like to call it, has gotten even messier because of President Joe Biden and his policies. The spending fight in Congress over how to handle this disaster has really brought out the true colors of the Democrats, and it’s not a pretty picture.

Some elected Democrats, like Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA), are starting to acknowledge that there’s a major problem at the border. But the majority of them are still turning a blind eye to the situation, refusing to give it the attention and concern it so desperately needs.

Republican governors like Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis have been sending migrants to Democratic cities and states, shining a bright spotlight on the left’s hypocrisy. Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker recently went on ABC News’ “This Week” and tried to shift the blame onto Abbott for the overflow of migrants in his state. He even had the audacity to argue that Texas was deliberately sending migrants to Democratic states and cities, conveniently ignoring the fact that these places are supposed to be sanctuary states that proudly welcome migrants with open arms.

Gov. Pritzker, however, isn’t the only Democrat who has been pointing fingers and playing the blame game. Biden campaign co-chair J.B. Pritzker, in an attempt to defend the president, accused Republicans of refusing to come to the table to make comprehensive immigration reform a reality. Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota also tried to deflect blame, refusing to directly acknowledge the crisis at the border and instead insisting that more could be done, but “they’re doing nothing.”

But despite the Democrats’ attempts to spin the issue, the facts don’t lie. Polls have shown that Americans are increasingly seeing the border as a crisis and are calling for tougher measures. A CBS News poll revealed that 68 percent of overall respondents disapprove of Biden’s handling of the U.S.-Mexico border, and 70 percent disapprove of him on immigration in general. Furthermore, 63 percent of respondents think the Biden administration should be “tougher on immigrants trying to cross at the border.”

An ABC News/Ipsos poll painted an even bleaker picture for Biden, with just an 18 percent approval rating for his handling of the border and 63 percent disapproval.

The reality of the effects of illegal immigration under Biden’s watch is also grim. Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) recently highlighted 64 Biden administration actions as well as the monthly number of encounters at the border, painting a damning picture of the crisis.

As the Democrats continue to avoid taking responsibility for the disaster at the southern border, the American people are growing increasingly concerned and disillusioned with the administration’s handling of the issue. The blame game can only go so far, and it’s clear that the Democrats are failing to address the real problems plaguing the border.
