Biden Blunders Through NBC Interview Amid Security Crisis

Joe Biden just can’t seem to avoid stepping on a rake. During an NBC News interview with Lester Holt, the current occupant of the White House demonstrated once again why many think he’s barely functioning. Despite the media trying to sweep his mental decline under the rug, Biden is doing everything he can to remind us that he might not be all there.

The interview touched on the frightening attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump at a Pennsylvania rally. Two people ended up dead, an attendee and the shooter, and Trump himself was injured, along with critical injuries to two other rally-goers. Instead of addressing the glaring failures of the Secret Service, Biden seemed about as coherent as someone who forgot where they parked their car at the mall during Christmas.

When asked by Holt if the situation constituted a massive security failure, Biden dodged and weaved like a Little League outfielder who forgot his glasses. He mentioned that he’s requested an independent analysis and we’ll see what that analysis brings back. Great leadership, Joe—let’s see if that analysis concludes that the sky is blue too.

Adding more to the comedy of errors, Biden dropped hints about Situation Room meetings. Now, isn’t that classified? One would think the President of the United States would know to keep certain discussions behind closed doors, but Biden seems to be on a mission to air out all the laundry, dirty or otherwise.

As if things weren’t already looking bad, Biden made an even more embarrassing blunder. When asked about the leadership of Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle, he responded confidently that he’d heard from “him.” Yes, the Secret Service Director is a woman, but why let facts get in the way of a good gaffe? Maybe Joe is finding it hard to keep track amidst all the administrational chaos, or perhaps it’s his administration’s obsession with gender-bending that has him so confused.

To put it lightly, it sure looks like Biden’s dementia threw him another curveball. Or perhaps it’s just another day in the Biden administration where common sense takes a backseat, and the driver forgot where they were going. Either way, it’s becoming increasingly clear that someone should call the adults back to take charge. The Secret Service needs answers, and so does America.
