Biden Clan’s Church Visit on Crash Anniversary: PR Stunt?

President Biden and his family, accompanied by the infamous Hunter Biden, attended a private Mass on Monday to mark the 51st anniversary of the tragic car accident that took the lives of the president’s first wife and daughter. This somber occasion brought together Biden, 81, and Hunter, 53, along with First Lady Jill Biden, First Daughter Ashley Biden, Hunter’s wife Melissa Cohen, and their young son Beau. After the service, the family paid a visit to the graves of Neilia and Naomi Biden, a sobering reminder of the devastating loss they endured all those years ago.

The timing of this family gathering is raising eyebrows as House Republicans continue to investigate Joe Biden’s involvement in Hunter and his brother James’s questionable foreign business dealings during the former vice president’s time in office. In fact, just last week, the House voted to authorize the impeachment inquiry, granting it greater power to enforce subpoenas, shortly after Hunter defiantly refused to participate in a deposition and instead delivered a passionate five-minute speech on the steps of the Capitol.

Interestingly, the White House claims that the president was aware of Hunter’s plans beforehand, which could potentially strengthen any case of obstruction of Congress in the event that articles of impeachment are brought forward. Republicans argue that Joe Biden misused his position to benefit Hunter and James’s business interests, meeting with various foreign associates and allegedly receiving payment without providing substantial evidence of services rendered. On the other hand, Democrats maintain that Joe Biden did nothing wrong, with Hunter attributing some of his questionable actions to his past struggles with addiction.

Despite Joe Biden’s firm denials, there are photographs and records that suggest otherwise — evidence that he met with these foreign associates and discussed business matters. In addition to the impeachment inquiry, Hunter is now facing federal charges for gun violations in Delaware and tax fraud in Los Angeles. His decision to walk away from a plea deal in July, which would have only pertained to probation, stemmed from demands for immunity regarding other potential misconduct, including violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act. These alleged actions could potentially implicate his father and create further legal complications for the Biden family.
