It’s been more than seven months, folks, seven whole months since that train derailed in East Palestine, Ohio. And can you believe it? President Joe Biden still hasn’t bothered to visit! He promised he would, but it seems like he’s too busy to keep his word. From sunny Florida, Biden had the audacity to say there’s “a lot going on here,” as if that’s an excuse for neglecting the good people of East Palestine. Well, thankfully, we have Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) stepping up to be the voice that Biden clearly doesn’t want to be.

Sen. Vance sat down with the brilliant Bret Baier over at Fox News to make it crystal clear that he stands with the people of East Palestine. Unlike Biden, who seems to have forgotten their existence, Sen. Vance believes that no matter who you voted for, the president should serve all the people. It’s a shame, folks, it truly is. East Palestine deserves better from their government.

And let me tell you, Sen. Vance didn’t hold back. He straight-up called out Biden for playing politics with the situation. The senator made a bold statement, saying there’s “no chance in hell” that if East Palestine supported Biden, he would be ignoring them like he is now. Ouch! That’s a burn, folks. While Biden is too busy ignoring his responsibilities, former-President Donald Trump actually took the time to visit the area. He knows what it means to lead with action, unlike our current president.
Now, let’s talk about the toxic water situation, because it’s downright scary. There are these giant vats in East Palestine where they’re literally trying to clean up toxic water from the creek bed. Can you imagine that, folks? People are worried about getting sick just by spending time near the creek. Vertigo, other health issues—it’s a nightmare. But don’t worry, Sen. Vance has your back. He’s fighting to hold Norfolk Southern accountable for their negligence and push for increased safety measures through The Railway Safety Act. Now that’s what I call leadership!
But it’s not just Sen. Vance sounding the alarm. Local residents are speaking out too. They’re feeling abandoned and angry, folks. One resident even revealed she hasn’t taken her kids into East Palestine since the derailment because she’s afraid of what it might cause. Can you blame her? It’s been seven months, and the president still hasn’t shown up. It sends a message loud and clear: Biden doesn’t care.
Let’s not forget that the slow response from Biden’s EPA has prevented residents from safely returning home. It’s just more evidence of this administration’s incompetence, folks. These people have been waiting for months, living in fear and uncertainty, all because Biden can’t be bothered to fulfill his promises.
So, as Sen. Vance said, the people of East Palestine are not forgotten. And thank goodness for that. They have a true advocate who is fighting for them every step of the way. It’s time for Biden to step up, do his job, and prove that he can put the American people first – because right now, he’s failing miserably.
