Biden Ducks Super Bowl Interview AGAIN: Fear of Ice Cream Questions or Dementia?

President Biden’s decision to skip the traditional Super Bowl halftime interview for the second year in a row is raising eyebrows. While it’s no surprise that he avoided Fox News anchors in 2023, since they tend to ask tough questions, what’s his excuse this time? Perhaps he fears being asked about his preferred ice cream flavors by CBS’ Norah O’Donnell. It’s clear that his handlers know he would embarrass himself, just as he did on New Year’s Eve.

Skipping this interview has become somewhat of a tradition for Biden, following in the footsteps of former President Donald Trump who also declined to appear in 2018 due to NBC News’ bias. However, two consecutive years of avoidance is unimpressive, especially in an election year when he should be getting his message out. CBS News, with its relatively friendly confines, would have been the perfect platform.

The Super Bowl is watched by millions, with last year’s game drawing a historic 115 million viewers. This year’s matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the SF 49ers is expected to attract even more attention. It’s a golden opportunity for Biden to reach a massive audience, particularly as polls indicate he’s trailing former President Trump. But his refusal to participate suggests one thing: he’s just not up to the task anymore.

His mental decline is becoming increasingly evident, despite attempts by his team, especially First Lady Jill, to hide it. It’s clear that he can no longer string together a coherent sentence, let alone hold a meaningful conversation. As commander-in-chief of our armed forces, this is concerning. A simple halftime interview requiring minimal effort should not be a challenge for the President of the United States.

One can only hope that in 2025, Biden will not be sitting at home in Delaware, avoiding another halftime interview. The American people deserve a leader who can confidently engage with the nation, even in the most casual of settings. It’s time for transparency and accountability, not avoidance and excuses.
