President Joe Biden just can’t seem to keep his thoughts straight. After the Group of 20 Summit in Vietnam, Biden stumbled his way through a press conference, leaving reporters scratching their heads. When asked about China’s relationship with the United States, Biden’s response was nothing short of confusing. He claimed he had to “go to bed” and then proceeded to mumble his way through an answer about stability and access for the Third World.
It’s concerning that our president can’t articulate a clear message about such an important topic. China’s aggression towards the US should be met with strength and a clear stance, not rambling and gaffes. Biden’s staff quickly removed him from the stage, perhaps realizing that his confusing statements were doing more harm than good.
And it doesn’t stop there. Biden also expressed his desire for a solid relationship with China and even went as far as saying he wants to see the communist government succeed financially. This is a troubling position to take, especially considering the ongoing investigations into his son Hunter Biden’s dealings with Chinese business people.
It’s clear that Biden’s priorities are not in line with the best interests of the United States. Rather than holding China accountable for its aggressive actions, he seems more interested in cozying up to them. As conservatives, we need to remain vigilant and continue to hold our leaders accountable for their actions and statements.
We cannot afford to let our relationship with China be based on wishy-washy statements and confusion. We need strong leadership that will protect American interests and stand up to those who threaten our nation. Biden’s press conference only confirms our concerns that he is not up to the task.
