President Biden shared a video clip from the latest Republican debate on social media, in which Florida Governor Ron DeSantis accused former President Trump of being to blame for the present surge in inflation that the country is experiencing. When the White House is questioned about the matter, conservatives are quick to point out that this will be a common talking point.
Declaring, "The people in Washington are shutting down the American dream with their reckless behavior," DeSantis contended during the discussion that Trump ought to have been present to defend his record. They spent, printed, borrowed, and now you have to pay extra for everything. That is because of them. Because they have left our border open, they have undermined our sense of national sovereignty.

As the crowd cheered, DeSantis went on to criticize President Biden's lack of leadership and to accuse Trump of also being "missing in action." The $7.8 trillion in debt that was acquired during Trump's presidency, according to DeSantis, has a major influence and is what caused the present inflation situation.
The president acknowledged that he agreed with DeSantis' viewpoints in reaction to the video that Biden provided. Not to be outdone, though, DeSantis responded to Biden, infuriating the two even more.
