The Biden-Harris administration has apparently taken a bizarre approach to law enforcement, with reports surfacing that a man wanted for nearly two dozen murders was allowed to roam free in the United States, all thanks to their open-border policies. The latest scandal features one Gianfranco Torres-Navarro, a 38-year-old alleged crime lord and leader of the notorious gang “Los Killers,” who is wanted for 23 murders in Peru. Before Americans could let out a collective gasp, they learned this criminal strolled right into the country at the southern border and was released into society without so much as a thought.
Details have emerged about Torres-Navarro’s journey to the land of the free. He entered the U.S. illegally on May 16, snagged himself an immediate arrest, and was handed a notice to appear for immigration proceedings. Yet somehow, between May and his July arrest by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Endicott, New York, he was granted the liberty to wander across the country. This travesty showcases the incompetence and chaos that has defined the Biden administration’s handling of immigration.
