As an attempt to exploit the disarray within the House Republican Party, President Joe Biden and his campaign team have been derision-mongering about the GOP's astounding seventeen-day absence of a speaker. As Biden sought re-election in 2024, he could not help but criticize the Republican Party's disarray.

The spokesman for Joe Biden's campaign, Ammar Moussa, was equally vehement in his criticism. He stated, "At this critical juncture for global security, the MAGA House Republicans' self-inflicted chaos and chronic incapability to govern stand in stark contrast to President Biden's strong and steady leadership." Moussa utilized every available opportunity to emphasize Biden's "bipartisan national security priorities" and the Republican Party's lack of collaboration with the president on critical matters.
Biden further incensed the situation by sarcastically expressing his support for Rep. Jim Jordan's unsuccessful candidacy for the speakership as they were departing from Israel. Jordan had previously suffered defeats in two elections prior to his removal as the nominee for speaker. The president appeared to be unable to refrain from adding salt to the wound.
The "Biden-Harris HQ" account on X, formerly Twitter, has been actively reposting footage of Republicans in disarray in order to further emphasize the division within the GOP. Rep. Kevin McCarthy acknowledges in one of these clips that the party is "in a terrible position," whereas Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene characterizes the Republican conference as "in serious trouble" for their inability to select a speaker.
President Biden and his campaign team are evidently capitalizing on the opportunity to deride the internal conflicts of the Republican Party. In an effort to project an image of steadfast leadership, the president deftly omits to discuss the numerous policy disputes and polarizing initiatives that have been undertaken by his own political party. However, the Republicans' failure to select a speaker does provide the Democrats with an opportunity to push their agenda forward without encountering significant resistance.
