Although Biden has consistently been ahead in most polls in Virginia during this election cycle, his lead has not been very large, only around 4.3 points on average. One recent poll even shows him with just a one-point lead. It’s important to acknowledge that this particular poll had a small group of people participating, and a significant 14% were unsure of their decision.
Another recent poll indicates Biden leading by three points. However, this poll was conducted by a group affiliated with Trump. While this firm is respected, it’s wise to view the results with caution. Nevertheless, the findings align with other recent polls in Virginia.
Looking back at the numbers from the 2020 election, Biden consistently had strong leads in polls. However, the final results showed he didn’t perform as well as the polls predicted. Even though Biden won Virginia comfortably in 2020, opening a new campaign office there, especially in a Democratic area like Northern Virginia, could indicate some concern within his campaign about the current situation in the state.
These polls are not just numbers; they reflect real concerns about Biden’s performance. Some might argue that Biden seems to be on the defensive, focusing on states he previously won easily instead of aiming to expand his reach.
