President Biden, fresh from his lovefest with China’s President Xi Jinping, is taking to the stage for a press conference. But instead of addressing real issues like the border crisis or inflation, he’s flying out to San Francisco to chat about the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit. Why is he always cozying up to foreign leaders instead of putting America first?

The press conference is set to start at 7:15 p.m. EST, as if anyone’s going to stay up past their bedtime to watch. But never fear, the commander-in-chief will be gracing us with his presence from the Left Coast, because what’s a crumbling nation without a little Golden State glamour?
Of course, after the press conference, he’s rolling out the red carpet for APEC leaders, because nothing says “I’m serious about strengthening America’s economy” like a fancy shindig. Then, on Thursday, he’ll grace the APEC summit with his presence yet again. Perhaps he’ll even share some of that economic wisdom the country is sorely lacking.
It’s time for Biden to focus on America and stop jet-setting around the world. We don’t need more photo ops and empty promises. We need a leader who puts our country and our people first.
