Since mid-July, Biden has seemingly perfected the art of doing as little as possible, and this time, he might be breaking an Olympic record for vacationing while supposedly running the country.
The summer of 2024 has seen Biden in a continuous parade of vacations, with many criticizing him for treating the presidency like an extended summer break. Since he tested positive for COVID-19, he’s favored a remarkably light presidential schedule, perhaps in line with his recent announcement of stepping back from the 2024 race and endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris.
