President Biden recently retold a story during a meeting with European Union leaders about his uncle’s supposed Purple Heart honor. However, this isn’t the first time Biden has shared this story, and there are inconsistencies in each version. It seems like Biden is playing a game of political telephone, constantly changing details to fit his narrative.

The Republican National Committee (RNC) Research account even called out Biden on Twitter for his contradictory statements. In previous versions of the story, Biden claimed he was vice president, not a senator, when his father approached him about his uncle’s Purple Heart. It’s a classic case of Biden bending the truth to create a more impressive image of himself.
WHY are Biden's lies simply brushed off as trivial; when deception is a disqualifying factor, for anyone applying for security clearance in Biden's own government.

Not only that, but a video from December 2022 shows Biden claiming that he personally presented his uncle with the Purple Heart after his election as Vice President. However, there is no evidence to support this claim. In fact, it’s impossible, considering Biden’s uncle passed away in 1999, long before Biden was elected as Vice President in 2008.
It’s concerning that our President feels the need to embellish stories about his family’s military service. Military honors such as the Purple Heart are meant to be a symbol of sacrifice and service, not a political prop. This is just another example of Biden’s tendency to stretch the truth for his own benefit. It’s time for him to start being honest with the American people.
