In a shocking turn of events, hundreds of Biden Administration employees are planning to walk out on their jobs to protest the president’s unwavering support for Israel. These government workers from 22 different departments are set to stage their revolt on Tuesday in response to the Biden Administration’s backing of Israel in the ongoing conflict in Gaza. The group, known as “Feds United for Peace,” is at their wits’ end with the president’s refusal to send aid to Gaza, which they claim has only intensified the violence in the region, resulting in the deaths of countless innocent civilians.

Making matters worse, the Biden Administration has already doled out a staggering $14 billion to Israel, in addition to providing extensive military support. The disillusioned workers are gearing up for a “Day of Mourning” to mark the 100th day of Israel’s military operation in Gaza. Their ranks will include employees from various top-level government agencies, including the Executive Office of the President, the National Security Agency, the Departments of State, Defense, Homeland Security, and Veterans Affairs, as well as US Citizenship and Immigration Services and the Naval Research Laboratory.
Even more surprising is the inclusion of workers from seemingly unrelated departments such as the Food and Drug Administration, the National Park Service, the Federal Aviation Administration, and the Environmental Protection Agency. One of the organizers explained that the protest stemmed from their shared desire to sway the Biden Administration’s policy on Israel. Additionally, they highlighted the extraordinary nature of their physical demonstration as a means of expressing their dissent.
The news of the walkout has sparked strong backlash from conservative leaders, with House Speaker Mike Johnson openly advocating for the dismissal of any government worker who participates in the protest. He emphasized that those who abandon their duties to rally against the United States’ support for Israel are not only shirking their responsibilities but also betraying the trust of the taxpayers who fund their salaries. To further drive home the severity of the situation, two U.S. officials have resigned from their positions in protest of the administration’s pro-Israel stance. One of these officials worked in the State Department division responsible for supervising weapon deliveries and cited the Biden Administration’s unwavering support for Israel as a key factor in their decision to step down.
