President Joe Biden’s campaign is already gearing up for the 2024 election, and they’ve found their central issue: blaming everything on Donald Trump. According to a script from the Biden campaign, they plan to argue that Trump will make the border chaos even worse if he were to return to office. They claim that he would round up Latinos into mass detention camps, end birthright citizenship, and shoot people at will. It’s a typical fear-mongering tactic from the Democrats, completely ignoring Biden’s own disastrous border record.

Since taking office in 2021, Biden has done nothing but help his corporate donors by flooding the US labor and housing markets with millions of migrants from poor countries. These migrants have primarily settled in Democrat-run cities, causing inflation to skyrocket, wages to decrease, and job opportunities to dwindle in heartland states. But the Democrats conveniently choose to ignore these consequences in their campaign pitch.
The Biden campaign also conveniently overlooks the fact that thousands of migrants have died while trying to take advantage of Biden’s open-door invite. Many of these migrants put themselves in incredibly dangerous situations, all because they believed they would be welcomed with open arms. Biden’s refusal to secure the border and enforce immigration laws has led to this humanitarian crisis, but the left prefers to shift the blame onto Trump.
In their Thanksgiving Day instructions, the Biden campaign tells Democratic partisans to respond with, “No he didn’t” when family members bring up Trump’s successful border security measures. They argue that all Trump did was separate families, put children in cages, and leave behind a broken immigration system. But the truth is, Trump was able to significantly reduce the flow of southern migrants by securing the border and establishing legal barriers. His border wall and agreements with Central American countries were effective and necessary measures to protect American jobs and national security.
If Trump’s policies had been allowed to continue, Americans would be enjoying higher wages and better job opportunities. Just look at Vermont, where few of Biden’s migrants are willing to go. Businesses there are thriving and offering wages starting at $25 an hour, thanks to a low-migration economy. But instead, Biden’s open-border policies have led to a burden on American workers and taxpayers.
It’s clear that the Democrats are desperately trying to rewrite history and divert attention away from Biden’s disastrous border policies. But the American people aren’t so easily fooled. Recent polls show that the public is increasingly recognizing the negative impact of mass migration. It’s time for Biden and his party to take responsibility for the chaos and put American citizens first.
