After a perpetual string of gaffes and lies, Joe Biden’s latest fib about his son Beau’s death is absolutely egregious. Beau Biden was a rare glimpse of decency in the Biden clan. Tragically, he succumbed to brain cancer at just 46 years old.
Beau had served as the attorney general of Delaware and as an officer in the Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps in the Delaware Army National Guard. He also held the rank of Major in Iraq in 2009 and was honored with a Bronze Star. However, after his military duty, he was diagnosed with glioblastoma, the illness that ultimately claimed his life in 2015.

This would be more than enough to elicit sympathy for the Biden family’s loss, but ol’ Joe just can’t resist seeking even more attention. Time and time again, he has shamelessly lied about his son’s passing, attempting to make it seem like Beau was lost in the line of duty during wartime action.
Worse yet, Biden has repeatedly spun this falsehood in order to garner sympathy from real military families who have lost loved ones in battle. And now, he’s at it again.
During a phone call to the family of Sgt. Kennedy Sanders, who was tragically killed by an Iranian-backed militia drone strike, Biden callously told the grieving parents that he could relate to their pain because he’s “been there.” He went on to claim, “My son spent a year in Iraq; that’s how I lost him.”
But let’s set the record straight: Beau Biden passed away five years after he returned from Iraq, and his illness had absolutely nothing to do with his office-based duties there.
The nerve of this guy! It’s absolutely shameful how Biden keeps peddling this lie, especially to Gold Star parents. Many took to social media to blast Biden for this blatant untruth, and rightfully so.
Even former Fox News contributor Juan Williams peddled Joe’s lie last year. This isn’t a recent development due to Biden’s mental decline; he’s been spinning this untruth for years, among countless other lies.
We’ll need to stop here and take a footnote, folks. “We don’t even know if an election will be held in 2024.” Those words ring true, spoken by former Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn.
