In a surprise speech at the White House, President Joe Biden addressed the nation, responding to the recently released report by Special Counsel Robert Hur. True to form, Biden began his remarks by reiterating his earlier statements in a blatant attempt to save face.
The President confidently declared that the exhaustive investigation spanning over four decades “reached a firm conclusion that no charges should be brought about me in this case.” Of course, we all expected nothing less than a self-serving declaration from Biden himself.

However, what followed was quite astonishing. Biden brazenly asserted that the report, which clearly presents damning evidence against him, doesn’t actually say what it says. Classic Biden logic right there!
Going on the offense, Biden vehemently denied accusations of willfully retaining classified documents, despite the lack of evidence supporting his claims. It’s impressive how confidently he can lie to the American people without flinching.
Then, Biden had the audacity to address the question surrounding his memory lapse regarding his son’s death. In a fit of anger, he lashed out, exclaiming, “How the hell dare he raise that? It isn’t any of their damn business!” Well, Mr. President, when you’re the leader of the free world, your ability to remember important details does become everyone’s business.
Trying to deflect blame onto his staff, Biden gave a masterclass in dodging responsibility as he became increasingly combative with the press corps. Oh, how convenient it is to throw your underlings under the bus when the heat is on!
Despite the plain language of the Hur report stating that Biden did possess classified documents, the President shamelessly insisted that he did not disclose any classified information. It’s remarkable how he can confidently dispute facts in the face of overwhelming evidence.
The report itself, though concluding that criminal charges are not warranted due to the difficulty of proving Biden’s willful mental state, only served to expose the weakness of our justice system. It appears that being an elderly man with a poor memory, rather than facing consequences for his actions, might grant Biden a get-out-of-jail-free card.
Surprisingly, Biden’s lawyers did not contest the characterization of their client’s mental state, but instead demanded revisions to the report, citing “prejudicial and inflammatory terms.” It seems like they’re more concerned with optics than the truth.
In response to mounting concerns about the President’s mental acuity, the House Oversight Committee has requested a full transcript of Biden’s interview with Hur. It’s about time that Congress and the American people get a chance to form their own opinions about Biden’s cognitive abilities.
With calls for invoking the 25th Amendment or initiating impeachment proceedings growing louder in Congress, it’s clear that the American people are losing faith in Biden’s ability to lead. And who can blame them? The man can’t even remember crucial details from his own past, yet he expects us to trust him with our future.
As this story continues to develop, one thing remains clear: President Biden’s attempt to dismiss these serious allegations and disregard the truth is nothing short of a betrayal to the American people. We deserve a leader who can uphold the law, remember important details, and take responsibility for his actions. Unfortunately, Joe Biden has proven time and time again that he is not that leader.
