Get ready, folks, because here comes another massive wave of migrants crashing into our southern border! It’s like a never-ending game of whack-a-mole. A whopping 7,000 asylum-seekers from Cuba, Haiti, and Honduras are marching through Mexico, ready to make a mad dash for the US border.

The caravan, equipped with a giant cross and a “Exodus from poverty” banner, started its journey in Tapachula on Christmas Eve. The city’s officials are sweating bullets, trying to manage the overwhelming droves of migrants flooding their town. According to Luis Garcia Villagrin, a migrant rights activist, about 800 to 1,000 people are crossing the southern border with Guatemala every day.
The caravan managed to trudge about 9 miles on their first day. And in case you needed a reminder, over 2 million migrants have already been encountered at our southern border in the 2022 and 2023 fiscal years. That’s like a whole city trying to barge in every single year! And it’s not slowing down one bit. In November alone, nearly a quarter million migrants stormed the border, setting a new record for the month. It’s like the border has turned into a swinging saloon door – just constant back and forth!
But hold onto your hats, because the drama doesn’t stop there. Mexican President Andres Lopez Manuel Obrador has been chit-chatting with President Biden about this whole illegal immigration mess, and it looks like they’re teaming up to tackle the problem. On the other hand, the White House is doing its best to smooth things over, claiming that the migration flow goes up and down like a seesaw. Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel hit the nail on the head by calling this mess a “humanitarian crisis” created by none other than Joe Biden.
