As the 2024 presidential election approaches, President Joe Biden is finally acknowledging the chaos he created at the border. It’s about time! On Thursday, Biden admitted that he can’t stop the construction of a border wall, even though he tried to redirect the funding. Well, Mr. President, maybe if you focused more on securing our borders instead of dismantling everything your predecessor did, we wouldn’t be in this mess.
Of course, when asked if physical barriers are effective in keeping out illegal migrants, Biden said a resounding “No.” Oh, how convenient. It’s almost like he wants our borders to be wide open for anyone and everyone to walk right in. It’s no wonder we’ve seen a record number of illegal aliens from Central America flooding across the Southern border. But don’t worry, folks, Biden’s got a solution: deportations to Venezuela.
After flip-flopping on the need for a border wall, the Biden Administration announced that deportations to Venezuela would resume. How generous of them. But let’s not forget that just a few months ago, they halted deportations in the name of “humanity.” I guess it’s only humane to start sending people back to a country that is in a state of political and economic turmoil, right? The hypocrisy is mind-boggling.
And while the Department of Homeland Security pats themselves on the back for enforcing immigration laws, they conveniently ignore the fact that they called former President Trump’s border policies “inhumane” and a “waste of money.” It’s almost as if they only care about playing politics instead of actually protecting our country.
Meanwhile, “sanctuary cities” controlled by Democrats are begging the Biden Administration to do something about the massive influx of illegal migrants overwhelming their resources. Oh, the irony! Governor Kathy Hochul and Mayor Eric Adams of New York City are practically begging for help as their city is drowning in the consequences of Biden’s disastrous policies. Adams even had to travel to Mexico in a desperate attempt to discourage more migrants from coming to “the Big Apple.” But who can blame them? If over 110,000 asylum-seekers have arrived in New York City since spring 2022, it’s no wonder they’re sounding the alarm.
The border crisis is real, folks, and it’s time for President Biden to finally take responsibility and address the chaos he helped create. We need a secure border, and we need it now. It’s not about being anti-immigrant; it’s about protecting our country and ensuring that the legal immigration process is respected. But until Biden stops playing politics and actually starts taking action, we’ll continue to suffer the consequences of his failed policies.
