Biden’s Border Policies Under Fire as Venezuelan Gang Targets US Law Enforcement

A recently released bulletin from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has set off alarms that could be heard over the sound of crickets in the Biden administration’s handling of border security. It appears that the Tren De Aragua (TdA), a criminal gang from Venezuela with more nefarious activities than a liberal politician in a budget meeting, has been given the green light to target American law enforcement. It seems that foreign criminals have decided that American soil is the perfect playground for their mischief, and law enforcement officers are at the top of that list.

The bulletin specifically points out that members of the TdA in Denver have received instructions to attack law enforcement. This lunacy isn’t isolated to Colorado, as similar warnings—laced with urgency—have come from Chicago and New York. One could wonder if the current administration has any clue about what is going on, or if they’re too busy pondering how to redefine what a “woman” is to pay attention to these kinds of threats.

This alarming scenario is an unfortunate byproduct of an open-border policy, diligently championed by Kamala Harris, the so-called Border Czar, while the Biden administration appears to be more focused on pacifying protestors than protecting the nation. Under their watch, an organization notorious for human, weapon, and drug trafficking is ordering attacks against U.S. law enforcement. The irony is thick enough to cut with a knife—while average Americans are told to comply with law enforcement, the criminals are gearing up to shoot back.

The statistics in the bulletin might just make your head spin faster than a liberal trying to explain why defunding the police is a good idea. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has identified roughly 26 TdA members in the first part of this fiscal year, which doesn’t sound horrific until it’s revealed that they’ve encountered 43 in the previous year and the latest intelligence suggests over 1,000 members are currently lurking in the shadows across the United States. It’s like a criminal convention, only without the RSVP.

And just when it seems like the horror stories couldn’t get any worse, the New York Post highlighted past incidents showing that the TdA has already been implicated in various violent crimes, including the shooting of two cops trying to apprehend one of their ranks. One has to wonder if the Biden administration believes that diving headfirst into the chaos of foreign crime syndicates will somehow improve the situation, like the famous saying goes: “If you can’t beat them, join them.” But for those who still believe in law and order, it’s clear that the more sensible answer is to double down on securing the border and defending responsible governance. After all, what’s next? Placing orders on the dark web for tips and tricks on how to survive a run-in with the TdA?
