President Joe Biden is in hot water again, folks! His attorneys are knee-deep in negotiations with Robert Hur, the Department of Justice’s Special Counsel, over the terms of their client’s interview. And boy, oh boy, are these negotiations a doozy! NBC News reports that they’re going back and forth on everything from the hows, whens, and wheres of the interview to the scope of the questions that will be asked. What are they grilling ol’ Joe about, you ask? Well, it’s his mishandling of classified documents dating back to his good ol’ Senate days. Yep, seems like Biden may have a few skeletons in his closet, or should I say, in his office at the Penn Biden Center and his home.
Now, here’s where things get interesting. See, Biden can’t hide behind the Presidential Records Act for this one. Nope, that defense doesn’t fly when it comes to documents he swiped while he was still a Senator. NBC mentions that during the searches of Biden’s office and home, they stumbled upon a whole bunch of notebooks that he kept during his time in public office. And guess what? These notebooks could potentially contain sensitive information. Ooh la la! We don’t know how many documents were seized, but it looks like this investigation could be dragging on because of it. Talk about a real headache for ol’ Sleepy Joe.
But here’s what really grinds my gears, folks. The lack of leaking in Biden’s probe compared to the investigation into Trump is downright jaw-dropping. It’s like a river of information during the Trump years, but when it comes to ol’ Joe, it feels like we’re stuck in a desert. And let’s not forget to talk about the cost! Special Counsel Jack Smith’s two investigations into Trump cost a whopping $9 million of taxpayer money. Meanwhile, Hur’s investigation into Biden is only chipping away at $1.2 million. Oh, the cost of double standards, my friends!

And if that wasn’t enough, whistleblowers within the IRS have claimed that they found some juicy leads linking Biden to his son Hunter’s business dealings. But apparently, they were told to turn a blind eye and ignore those leads. It’s like they don’t even want the truth to come out! And get this, the FBI had a Biden bribery memo that they conveniently kept hidden from these whistleblowers. Talk about suspicious, folks. It seems like the Biden family has a habit of getting special treatment.
Conservatives are up in arms about this, and rightly so. Just take it from Amuse, a wise commentator who exclaimed, “DOUBLE STANDARD: The prosecutor investigating Biden’s theft and illegal handling of classified documents has to give Biden a list of questions before the interview even starts!” Can you believe that? No chance in the world that Trump would have received such courtesy. It’s high time we call out these blatant double standards and demand equal treatment for all, regardless of political affiliation.
And to top it all off, my good friend Justin Schroeder, an astute observer, couldn’t have put it better when he said, “This is what so many of us have been bringing up for years now. Huge double standard. No chance Trump gets this same courtesy.” Amen, Justin. It’s time for America to wake up and see the truth. Biden may be the President, but that doesn’t mean he’s above the law. It’s time for some accountability, folks, and it starts with demanding fair treatment for all.
