Biden’s Cringe-Worthy Staged Visit: Pandering to Black Voters Backfires

In a feeble effort to appeal to Black voters, President Joe Biden recently made a highly publicized stop at a fast food joint in North Carolina to meet with a Black single dad and his two sons. The video of this encounter was filled with forced authenticity and failed miserably in its attempt to connect with everyday Americans. The family, carefully curated by Biden’s team, consisted of an award-winning educator father and his two studious and athletically active sons. It was clear that this was not your average Black family, designed specifically to mirror Biden’s own experiences as a father. However, given his son Hunter Biden’s scandalous past, perhaps they should have thought twice before asking for parenting advice.

Once again, Biden’s strategists missed the mark by using this family as a platform to push their liberal agenda, particularly their obsession with student loan forgiveness. The father, Eric Fitts, claimed that his substantial student loans were miraculously “forgiven” by the Biden administration, despite the Supreme Court ruling that this was not within the president’s jurisdiction. It’s astonishing how Biden continues to overstep his boundaries and ignore the limits of his power.

While Biden may believe that pandering to Black voters through staged encounters and empty promises is an effective strategy, the mockery surrounding this visit reveals the truth. The Republican Party, unfortunately, has failed miserably at reaching out to the Black community, allowing Biden to exploit their concerns. The issues of Bidenomics, the Border Crisis, and the uncontrolled influx of illegal immigrants pose a threat to urban neighborhoods, making Black voters particularly vulnerable.

While Biden and his team pay close attention to the polls, hoping to secure the 98 percent Black vote typically enjoyed by Democrats, they may be in for a rude awakening. Black voters, especially Black men, are increasingly turning towards conservative values and questioning the economic impact of Biden’s policies. Under former President Donald Trump, Black Americans experienced greater economic growth, which has made them reconsider their vote in this cycle. It’s clear that Biden’s presidency is not living up to its promise of prosperity for all.

Another significant factor driving Black voters away from the Democrats is their disregard for the concerns of minority communities. As these neighborhoods face the overtaking of illegal immigrants, Democrats prioritize the needs of these potential voters over the well-being of American citizens. This presents a golden opportunity for Republicans to finally make inroads within the Black community.

However, it appears that Republicans are failing to seize this opportunity. Rather than investing in community outreach and establishing centers in urban neighborhoods, they remain complacent. Dear Republicans and Conservatives, words alone will not win over Black voters. Mere promotion of conservative and Republican values is not enough. It’s time to get out there, engage with Black communities, and show a genuine interest in their needs and concerns.

Unfortunately, the current state of the Republican Party makes it doubtful that they will step up to the challenge. With the recent shakeup in RNC leadership, it remains unclear whether any plans for change are on the horizon. While the Republican National Convention is taking place in Milwaukee, a minority outreach center is a small step towards making a more significant impact.

If Trump becomes the Republican presidential nominee once again, it would be wise to revive his 2020 Platinum Plan, which garnered widespread interest from Black voters. This plan had even attracted the attention of critics like rapper and actor Ice Cube, who saw an opportunity to engage with the Trump administration. However, the Republican Party must distance itself from influencers who push nonsensical arguments and divisive rhetoric that only serve to alienate potential supporters.

As we approach the November elections, it will become evident which party takes the initiative to better understand the needs of Black voters and develop concrete policies and actionable engagement. It’s time for a party to show some intelligence and prioritize the economic prosperity and well-being of all Americans.
