In a farewell address that was about as coherent as a drunken rant at a family reunion, President Joe Biden appeared to sound the alarm about an “oligarchy” taking over the nation. With the slurred speech and awkward pauses reminiscent of his infamous encounters with Donald Trump, Biden claimed the problem lies with a “dangerous concentration of power” in the hands of a few ultra-wealthy elites. But isn’t it rich that the very target of his ire could just as easily be pointed back at himself? After all, it’s not exactly a secret that the Biden dynasty has had its share of dubious dealings with those in high places.
Watching Biden fumble through his address was akin to witnessing a toddler trying to ride a bicycle for the first time. It would be easier to get a handle on his message by reading the transcript, where his inability to form a coherent thought was on full display. While the media continues to hide his incompetence, it has become an unfortunate joke that might just be the biggest cover-up of the decade. Instead of focusing on the actual issues at hand, Biden opted for a nostalgic trip down memory lane to the era of “robber barons,” failing to recognize that today’s oligarchs have ensconced themselves comfortably in the corners of the White House.

In a moment of pure irony, as he lamented the rise of a tech-industrial complex, it was as if he was completely unaware that his administration is already part of that narrative. The president expressed concern about tech companies exerting too much influence, yet he conveniently ignored the cozy relationship between his administration and these entities. The FBI’s cozy chats with social media platforms to suppress the Hunter Biden story serve as a perfect example of crushing free speech under the guise of “protecting the public.” Irony doesn’t even begin to cover it.
According to insiders, even Mark Zuckerberg found himself on the receiving end of President Biden’s frustrations as the administration allegedly bombarded Meta employees with demands to squash any content resembling a threat to their narrative. As Joe Biden huffs and puffs about misinformation, what he actually wants is for companies to play ball with the Democrats. Recent reports indicate Google has decided against adding fact-checks to its search results, while Meta is thrown in the towel altogether, calling it quits on fact-checking in a move away from the increasingly absurd censorship trends.
Speaking of absurd, Under Biden’s leadership, the nation has plunged into chaos: soaring inflation, disastrous foreign policy decisions like the hasty withdrawal from Afghanistan, and a foreign policy that made him look like a timid spectator while a regional war erupted in Ukraine. All this while Trump, facing impeachment and legal woes, seems to have gained traction among the American public. People watched Biden’s lackluster leadership and couldn’t help but long for a return to a reality where the president at least pretended to be in control. The once beleaguered Trump now stands more popular than ever as he rushes back to reclaim the Oval Office, leaving Biden looking like a relic of a dismal presidency.
In the end, it’s hard to ignore the conclusion that Biden embodies the very oligarchy he claims to despise. There’s a looming sense of disbelief surrounding the sheer control this administration has held over the narrative, with many left wondering who truly calls the shots in the Biden family. One poorly executed debate marked the beginning of the end for his campaign, unmasking his deceptive claims regarding his health and accomplishments. Compared to the trials and tribulations of the past, Biden’s presidency has transformed the memory of Jimmy Carter into a nostalgic fondness. History won’t be kind to this iteration of leadership, consigning him to the annals alongside the worst presidents the nation has ever known. Let’s just hope this family “business” gets the closure it deserves.
