Biden’s Folly: Cozying Up to CCP to Fix Fentanyl Crisis!

The Biden administration has made yet another questionable decision by forming a “working group” with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to tackle the global narcotics and fentanyl crisis. Can you believe it? The same administration that claims to be tough on China is now cozying up to them to solve a problem that they themselves are largely responsible for. It’s like asking the wolf to guard the henhouse!

According to the State Department, multiple U.S. agencies will be collaborating with China to combat the production and trafficking of narcotics, specifically fentanyl. Now, isn’t that ironic? China is the main culprit behind shipping fentanyl precursors to Mexico, which are then turned into a deadly product that ends up in the hands of Americans. And our brilliant solution is to work hand-in-hand with China? What a joke!

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has made it clear that China’s involvement in the fentanyl crisis cannot be overlooked. It’s a fact that China’s actions are causing the deaths of countless Americans every year. But instead of holding China accountable, the Biden administration is treating them like a partner in crime. This is a prime example of weak leadership and a failure to put America’s interests first.

Now, the State Department is trying to sugarcoat this disastrous decision by calling it a “U.S.-PRC Counternarcotics Working Group” and claiming it will save lives both in the United States and around the world. Well, forgive us for being skeptical, but how exactly is collaborating with the CCP going to save American lives? It seems more like a PR stunt than a serious effort to address the crisis.

We shouldn’t be surprised by China’s attempt to shift blame for the fentanyl crisis onto the United States. Their senior counternarcotics official had the audacity to claim that the problem lies within our country’s high demand for the drug. It’s a typical tactic from the CCP playbook, deflecting responsibility and refusing to take any meaningful action.

Fentanyl is a deadly drug, and its impact on our communities cannot be ignored. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported over 105,000 deaths in the U.S. caused by fentanyl between February 2022 and January 2023. This crisis demands strong leadership and decisive action, not empty gestures and questionable alliances.

It’s clear that the Biden administration’s approach to the fentanyl crisis is flawed and misguided. Instead of working with China, we should be implementing stricter border controls, cracking down on drug trafficking organizations, and holding China accountable for its role in this epidemic. We need leaders who prioritize the safety of American citizens above all else, and unfortunately, that’s not what we’re seeing from the current administration.
