In a shocking turn of events, it has been revealed that Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas and its allies, including the Iranian Islamist regime and Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro, have benefited from eased sanctions under President Joe Biden. These financial benefits have come under scrutiny following a wave of devastating terrorist attacks in Israel.
Over the past 24 hours, more than 300 people have lost their lives, while nearly 1,600 have been injured due to rocket bombings and attacks targeting innocent civilians. Reports have emerged suggesting that Hamas terrorists have taken dozens of Israeli civilians, including women, children, and elderly individuals with dementia, as hostages. Graphic videos circulating on social media appear to show the torture of these hostages. Hamas has named this terror spree the “al-Aqsa Deluge” and has vowed to continue these attacks indefinitely.
It is alarming to see that these attacks have occurred after years of policies from the Biden administration that have aided the supporters of Palestinian terrorism. In September, it was revealed that the State Department provided over $90,000 in funding to a Gaza-based organization that openly supports “armed resistance” against Israel. Additionally, the Biden administration has helped Hamas’s major international backers, such as the Iranian regime.
Hamas has long enjoyed close ties with Iran, despite being a Sunni Arab organization and Iran being a Shiite regime. Military experts studying the drones used during the recent attack have suggested that they were either inspired by Iranian designs or outright Iranian-made weapons. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran, even celebrated the carnage on Twitter, expressing his hope that the “usurper Zionist regime” would be eradicated by the Palestinian people.

It is deeply concerning that the Biden administration has been appeasing Iran, even allowing access to $6 billion in frozen assets. This questionable decision was reportedly made in exchange for the release of five Americans held hostage in Iranian prisons. Actions like these only empower Iran and endanger global stability and security.
Similarly, the Biden administration has also eased sanctions on the socialist regime in Venezuela, known for its close ties to terrorist groups like Hamas and Hezbollah. Venezuela has seen a significant increase in oil production since the Biden administration allowed the American company Chevron to operate in the country. Furthermore, Venezuela, Iran, and Syria have recently announced plans to collaborate on the construction of an oil refinery, which will undoubtedly benefit all three countries financially.
The Biden administration’s actions in regard to Iran, Venezuela, and their ties to terrorist organizations raise serious concerns about their commitment to fighting global terrorism. Instead of taking a strong stance against these rogue regimes, the administration seems to be appeasing them, potentially putting innocent lives at risk. It is crucial for the United States to prioritize the safety and security of its allies, like Israel, rather than placating terrorist-supporting regimes.
