House Republicans are not backing down in their quest to uncover the truth about President Joe Biden’s classified documents scandal. In a bold move, they have sent subpoenas and letters to key individuals who they believe were involved in the case. One of the subpoenas was sent to former White House counsel Dana Remus, requesting her appearance for a deposition on December 8th. Additionally, letters were sent to four current White House employees, urging them to schedule voluntary closed-door interviews.

The Republicans are particularly concerned about Biden’s mishandling of classified information, especially in light of recent discoveries made by the House Oversight Committee. The Department of Justice is also conducting its own investigation into Biden’s handling of classified information. They have appointed Robert Hur as a special counsel to lead the inquiry. Hur’s investigation was prompted by the discovery of classified documents at the Penn Biden Center and Biden’s home in Delaware. Biden’s attorneys claim they found the documents at the Penn Biden Center in November 2022 and promptly alerted the National Archives. However, Biden failed to publicly disclose this information until it was first reported by CBS nearly two months later. This raises concerns about transparency and accountability.
While the status of the DOJ’s investigation remains unknown, it was recently confirmed that Biden was interviewed by the special counsel. This suggests that progress is being made in the case. The American people deserve to know the truth about Biden’s handling of classified information and whether it was influenced by his family’s foreign business dealings. Transparency and accountability are essential in our government, and it is the duty of House Republicans to uncover the facts.
