In a recent development, the president’s lawyer, Bob Bauer, is coming out swinging against the Special Counsel’s report on Joe Biden’s mental fitness during his interview. The report raised concerns about Biden’s seemingly shoddy memory and confused state during the interview, but Bauer is not having any of it. He’s out here bashing the report, claiming that Biden was as sharp as a tack during the interview and dismissing any insinuations about his mental state.

But let’s be real here, folks. Bauer is hardly an impartial party in all of this. He’s married to Anita Dunn, a senior communications adviser for the Biden White House, so it’s no surprise he’s trying to spin the narrative in their favor. And let’s not forget the convenient reluctance to disclose the tapes and transcripts from the interview. What are they trying to hide, huh?
Thankfully, congressional Republicans are on the case. The House Oversight committee is demanding the transcript from the Department of Justice by February 19, and they’re not backing down. They’re also looking to schedule the Special Counsel, Robert Hur, to testify about his report on Biden’s handling of classified documents. It’s about time someone held the administration accountable for their actions.
Honestly, it’s a circus out there, folks. The Democrats are probably ready to pop the champagne if the tapes and transcripts are released and back up their claims. But we’ll have to wait and see. The media will be all over this, and Biden will probably be gloating about how he spoke with King Solomon or something. But we’re not buying it. We want the truth, and congressional Republicans are determined to get it. Let the games begin!
