In the ongoing scandal surrounding Joe Biden and his son Hunter’s questionable business dealings, the lies keep on piling up. From Biden himself to White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, and now Biden’s lawyer Abbe Lowell, the excuses to justify Joe’s involvement in his son’s affairs have reached new levels of absurdity. Lowell appeared on CNN last Thursday and boldly claimed that Hunter did not share his business or profits with his father. He also offered the most preposterous excuse yet to justify Joe’s interactions with Hunter’s business associates.
Lowell’s defense was that Joe, like any “good parent,” was simply trying to help Hunter when he needed it. Seriously, Mr. Lowell? That’s the best you can come up with? Trying to justify piles of cash allegedly finding their way into Joe’s bank accounts by playing the “good parent” card? This argument could justify any behavior by an adult towards their children. When does this supposed parental help become an assault on the rule of law?
Meanwhile, Joe Biden continues to contradict himself with two mutually exclusive claims. On one hand, he stubbornly insists that he has never spoken to his son about his overseas business dealings. On the other hand, he brazenly declares that his son has done nothing wrong. How can he claim his son did nothing wrong if he never discussed his nefarious dealings with him? It’s a contradiction that only reveals the depths of Biden’s deception.
As the scandal unfolds, it was clear from the beginning that either Joe or Hunter, or both, would throw each other under the bus to save themselves. Hunter has now sued the IRS, claiming wrongful conduct and unauthorized disclosure of his tax information. It seems the Biden family is resorting to legal action to protect their secrets.
While House Democrats rally to defend Joe Biden against an impending Republican-majority House impeachment inquiry, it’s evident that they are willing to sacrifice Hunter to save the president. Virgin Island Democrat Rep. Stacey Plaskett openly stated that Hunter Biden is not the administration. This newfound fear of the Biden administration from Hunter only adds more intrigue to this political soap opera.
In the end, both Joe and Hunter Biden may face the consequences of their actions. However, it will require House Republicans with a backbone to overcome the Democrat lies and excuses, as well as a judicial system that rises above the two-tiered injustice of the Biden regime. It remains to be seen if justice will prevail or if the Biden family will evade accountability once again.
