Biden’s Middle East Mess Makes Minnows of US Might!

The Biden administration’s flimsy foreign policy efforts in the Middle East are about as effective as a screen door on a submarine. Yep, you heard it right, folks! The Washington Examiner is doing some good ol’ fashion rootin’ and tootin’ investigative work in their series, “Middle East Mirage,” and uncovering all the ways the administration is fumbling the ball with Iran, Palestine, and the good ol’ United Nations. It’s like watching a clown juggling chainsaws – exhilarating, but you know it’s gonna end in disaster!

So, get this, after Hamas went on a rampage and killed a bunch of Israelis on October 7th, the United Nations agency in the Palestinian territories, UNRWA, came under fire for allegedly cozying up to these U.S.-designated terrorists. And guess what? The Biden administration was all like, “Oh, UNRWA, we love you,” even as other countries were slamming the brakes on their funding faster than a turkey running from Thanksgiving dinner.

But hold on to your hats, folks, because here comes the cavalry! Conservative Senator Jim Risch from good ol’ Idaho is saying what we’re all thinking – UNRWA is about as helpful as a screen door on a submarine. It’s time to pull the plug and send this organization to the retirement home!

And let’s talk about Secretary of State Antony “Blink and You’ll Miss It” Blinken. He’s out here saying, “No one else can do what UNRWA does.” Well, I hate to break it to ya, but that’s a load of baloney! We can totally find another group that can handle this mess with a little bit of transparency and accountability. It’s not rocket science, folks!

And don’t get me started on the partisan bickering in Congress. Republicans are all like, “About time we cut off the cash flow,” while Democrats are hemming and hawing about the poor civilians in Gaza. But hey, speaking of cutting off the dough, can we talk about how all these big-shot countries like Germany, Japan, and the UK are slamming on the funding brakes too? It’s like a UNRWA boycott party, and everyone’s invited!

But it’s not all doom and gloom, folks. We’ve got Mr. Goldberg, the adviser with the cool name from the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, saying, “UNRWA’s support for Hamas is a feature, not a bug.” I mean, come on, folks! If that doesn’t convince you, I don’t know what will!

And let’s not forget our good friend Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel. He’s right there with us, saying “it’s time” for UNRWA to hit the road. And you know what? He’s onto something!

I tell ya, folks, this whole UNRWA debacle is like watching a game of hot potato. Nobody wants to be left holding the bag when the music stops, and I sure ain’t looking to be the one left without a chair! Let’s hope the Biden administration gets its act together and starts making some smart moves in the Middle East. Otherwise, well, we might as well pack up and call it a day!
