In a surprising turn of events, President Joe Biden has made some confusing remarks regarding the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas. While he initially showed support for Israel’s right to defend itself against the cowardly attacks, he later seemed to send mixed messages with his call for them to “follow the rules of war.”
It’s absurd to suggest that Israel, a nation constantly under threat of terrorist attacks, should adhere to “rules of war” when their enemy, Hamas, shows no regard for innocent civilian lives. Hamas has engaged in horrifying acts of torture, rape, and murder, yet Biden expects Israel to exercise restraint? This is an unreasonable demand coming from a leader who should be unequivocally supporting our long-standing ally.
Furthermore, Biden’s sudden mention of a “path to a Palestinian state” raises concerns about his commitment to Israel’s security. While he claims that Hamas should be eliminated, he also insists on the need for a Palestinian authority and the establishment of a Palestinian state. This hints at a biased approach that seeks to appease his pro-Palestine base of supporters, even at the expense of our strategic partnership with Israel.

Israel is determined to crush Hamas, as they should be, considering the terrorist organization’s relentless attacks on innocent Israeli civilians. They have taken measures to minimize harm to civilians in Gaza by providing warnings and safe pathways out of harm’s way. It is essential to support Israel in their efforts to defend their citizens against terrorism.
President Biden’s confusing statements and conflicting loyalties undermine confidence in his ability to handle foreign policy matters. His lack of clarity and consistency could potentially harm our relationship with Israel, a steadfast ally in the volatile Middle East. It is crucial for the United States to stand firmly behind Israel in their fight against terrorism, rather than tiptoeing around the issue for political gain.
As conservatives, we recognize the importance of supporting Israel, a beacon of democracy in the region. We must hold our leaders accountable to ensure they prioritize the safety and security of our allies rather than appeasing political factions. Israel’s fight against Hamas is not just its own, but a fight against the forces of terrorism that threaten the entire free world.
