Presidential Order No. 128-II, which integrates Critical Race Theory (CRT) into the development of artificial intelligence, was signed by Joe Biden. This is an extremely troubling development. By integrating principles of equity into AI-enabled technologies utilized in the health and human services industry, the edict seeks to guarantee that AI promotes principles of fairness and dignity. That is to say, "equity principles" dictated by the radical left and racial identitarianism must be adhered to by AI tools that influence policy in the Health and Human Services. It would appear that the Biden administration is attempting to infuse all facets of AI with their divisive ideology.

Additionally, equity, gender policy, discrimination, and bias are emphasized in the Executive Order. There are nine references to "equity," one to "gender policy," twenty-five to "discrimination," and nine to "bias" in the order text. To prevent AI-related discrimination, bias, and other harms, it enforces federal employment practices, standards for AI developers, and consumer protection legislation.
The order neglects to tackle the problem of algorithmically driven censorship by the government, despite its purported commitment to promote equity and civil rights. The possibility exists that the Biden administration is not concerned with eradicating biases imposed on AI developers, given the absence of any mention of censorship. Rather, their apparent preoccupation appears to be the promotion of their own distorted identitarian conceptions of gender and ethnicity.
The utilization of executive orders by the Biden administration to advance divisive ideologies, such as CRT in AI development, is a matter of concern. This exemplifies the left's continued effort to suppress opposing viewpoints and implement their radical agenda. Preventing discrimination against any individual or group and ensuring that AI maintains its objectivity are of utmost significance.
