Joe Biden once again took center stage, but some are questioning whether he should stick to the sidelines instead. The recent campaign stop in Pittsburgh was less about rallying the troops and more about showcasing a leader who seems increasingly disconnected from reality. The Democrats, in their perpetual state of denial, have left America to grapple with the consequences of Biden’s cognitive decline. Kamala Harris, the vice president and supposed partner in this mess, has similarly failed to be transparent about the man she stands beside.
Biden’s remarks during the event left many scratching their heads. The president, in a moment that could only be described as surreal, struggled with his words, attempting to convey a message about America’s manufacturing prowess. To make matters worse, Biden mocked those who predicted financial doom under his administration, seemingly oblivious to the mounting problems facing American families right now. Just stepping back from the podium would have provided him with the clarity to see that skyrocketing interest rates have made homeownership a distant dream for many. Instead, he opted to regale the audience with peculiar anecdotes, such as a tale about his great-grandfather, which only added another layer of absurdity to an already bewildering performance.

It’s hard to reconcile those lofty descriptions with a person who has navigated her way through power with questionable ethics and radical agendas.
Biden’s performance in Pittsburgh underscores not just his struggles but also highlights the broader narrative of a party that seems increasingly out of touch with reality. Whether it’s the economy, foreign policy, or internal party dynamics, the administration appears mired in contradictions and absurdities. Harris might want to reconsider her role as the supportive foil to Biden’s increasingly strained leadership. Otherwise, she runs the risk of being forever tied to an administration that feels more like an ongoing crisis than a credible governance effort.
