As the story broke, it was revealed that three brave members of the U.S. Army had tragically lost their lives in a drone attack from Iran-backed militants in Jordan. These fallen heroes have now been identified as SGT William Jerome Rivers, SPC Kennedy Ladon Sanders, and SPC Breonna Alexsondria Moffett, all hailing from the great state of Georgia.
It’s important to honor and remember these soldiers for their sacrifice. They were part of the Army Reserve’s 718th Engineer Company, working tirelessly to protect our nation and its interests. Their dedication and bravery should serve as an inspiration to us all.

However, even in times of mourning, the Biden administration couldn’t resist making a political spectacle out of it. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean Pierre shamelessly referred to these courageous individuals as “three folks fighting on behalf of the Biden administration.” Excuse me, but our military fights for our country, not for any administration. This blatant attempt to politicize their sacrifice is disgraceful.
And let’s not forget the insensitive behavior of President Biden himself. While he did offer a moment of silence to honor the fallen soldiers, he quickly followed it up with a tasteless joke and a chuckle. Is that how we show respect and gratitude to those who have given everything for our freedom? It’s just another example of the Commander-in-Chief’s lack of empathy and poor judgment.
There were concerns about whether President Biden would even attend the dignified transfer ceremony when the soldiers’ remains were brought home. National Security Council John Kirby’s response was nothing short of disappointing. He simply stated, “I don’t have anything on his schedule to speak to.” Come on, Mr. Kirby, we all know that President Biden’s schedule is often light and that he’s constantly on vacation. The least he could do is prioritize honoring our fallen heroes.
But it seems that the Biden administration is incapable of getting anything right. From the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan to the mishandling of foreign threats, it’s clear that this administration is lacking in leadership and strength. One can’t help but wonder if Biden would check his watch or bring up his son during the ceremony, further agitating the grieving families, just like he did during the military members’ memorial in Afghanistan.
And then there’s the disturbing leak from the Biden team, suggesting a possible response to the killings and even leaking potential options to attack. How careless can they be? By giving the Iranians time to prepare and adjust, they have endangered even more American lives. This entire situation has spiraled out of control because President Biden failed to take it seriously and respond with strength. Instead, he has been coddling Iran and releasing money to them, effectively enabling their bad behavior.
It’s clear that we can’t afford to wait for the next election to hold President Biden accountable. The consequences of his weak and misguided approach have already cost American lives. The time to vote him out of office can’t come soon enough. We need a leader who will prioritize the safety and security of our nation, not one who chuckles in the face of tragedy and bends over backward to appease our enemies
