Once again, the liberal elite are patting one of their own on the back. Bill Maher—the same comedian who’s spent years spewing insults at conservatives, and who built his career tossing cheap shots at President Trump—has now been chosen for the so-called Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. Of course, it’s happening at the prestigious Kennedy Center, a place that has become a playground for smug left-wingers who love nothing more than celebrating each other’s “edginess.”
It’s no shock that Maher is their pick. The left calls it “humor” when someone from their club trashes the values that make America strong. Mock Christians, tear into flyover country, or roll your eyes at people who salute the flag—suddenly you’re a comedy genius in their crowd. Meanwhile, comedians who dare to poke fun at liberal policies are labeled as “dangerous” or get canceled. The double standard is obvious to anyone paying attention.

Let’s be clear: Bill Maher hasn’t been funny in years. His so-called humor is just recycled talking points dressed up with a smug grin. For decades, he’s aimed at everyone who disagrees with his narrow worldview. And of course, those “jokes” almost always target Republicans, patriots, and anyone who believes in traditional American values.
Liberal Hollywood loves to lecture America on what’s acceptable. By giving Maher this fancy prize, they’re not honoring real comedy. They’re rewarding someone who toes the globalist line. They want to send a message to the rest of us: mock the right people, and you’ll get a medal. Stand up for the flag and family, and you’ll get smeared as a bigot.
Maybe one day people will wake up and realize real humor isn’t about punching down at half the country. If Mark Twain were around today, he’d probably roll his eyes at this whole sham ceremony. The Kennedy Center can keep its prizes—for Americans who actually believe in this country, it’s just another meaningless trophy for another out-of-touch liberal.
