But the truth? They’ve shown America the exact opposite. They exposed the harsh realities our brave officers face every day. From the chaos and split-second decisions required in the line of duty to the unfair second-guessing they endure from detached pundits, body cams reveal the raw truth liberals didn’t expect: our police aren’t the merciless villains the media loves to portray.
Remember the uproar over the shooting of Ma’Khia Bryant? Body cam footage showed she was about to stab another girl. The liberal outrage machine wanted everyone to cry “racism.” They ignored the evidence to maintain their narrative. And when Ricardo Munoz charged at officers with a knife, the cameras again showed why these split-second decisions are life or death. But facts don’t matter when you’re pushing an agenda. Now, lo and behold, the term “copaganda” is being thrown around. Suddenly, the technology they clamored for is called a propaganda tool. Why? Because the narrative didn’t pan out the way they wanted. Surveillance isn’t bad, per se, to these critics; it’s only bad when it doesn’t fit their script. It’s laughable that these same folks, who now bash body cams, encouraged videotaping ICE agents. When it suits them, footage is gospel. Otherwise, it’s just a trick.
It’s not about justice or fairness for these so-called activists. It’s about control. They desire a monopoly on the truth, twisting it to suit their agenda. Body cams were supposed to help them, but once they started proving inconvenient truths, they became the enemy. When video evidence shows the chaos and danger our officers endure, activists turn a blind eye.

The Left was all for body cams until they showed the world the actual, challenging decisions officers must make. It’s not the footage they hate. It’s losing control.
