Rep. Lauren Boebert has once again sent shockwaves through the political landscape, this time by tying President Joe Biden’s alleged mental decline to his COVID-19 vaccination status. The Congresswoman from Colorado has long been a thorn in the side of the Biden administration, and her latest remarks are sure to raise eyebrows and spark debate nationwide.
Boebert speculated on social media that the President’s rapid physical and cognitive decline might have something to do with his series of COVID-19 vaccinations. The post was a jab at Biden’s well-documented vaccine history, featuring four shots of him receiving jabs between January 2021 and October 2022. While some might dismiss her claims as mere conjecture, Boebert’s knack for stirring the pot has once again placed her at the center of a national conversation.

Unsurprisingly, this is not the first time Boebert has questioned Biden’s mental faculties. However, it is the first instance where she has ventured to link his cognitive state with the COVID-19 vaccine. Up until now, her rhetoric against the vaccine has mostly focused on opposing draconian mandates and rejecting the “anti-vax” label that the left loves to throw around. Recently, she has been more vocal about questioning the vaccine's efficacy, reflecting a growing sentiment among many conservatives.
Boebert has been especially scathing in her criticism of health authorities, including Dr. Anthony Fauci, whom she has called out for what she perceives as misleading the public. She believes that businesses and livelihoods were unjustly destroyed due to vaccine mandates that failed to stop virus transmission, as promised.
In a recent flurry of posts, Boebert has pointed out that Biden’s mental decline has been evident since 2020, which precedes his vaccination. According to her, it didn’t take a genius—or even eyesight—to notice Biden’s struggles during his campaign, which he famously conducted from his basement. For Boebert, this underscores the Democrats’ persistent denial and misrepresentation of Biden’s cognitive state, something that has been glaringly obvious to anyone paying attention.
